This is a simple animation to illustrate
the truth. First there was God and Man together - that's
the way God created us to be. But then Sin entered the
world. We all sin...every one of us. It separates us
from God. God had a plan and sent his Son to die on the
cross for our sins, so now we have a way back to God. All
we have to do is accept God's plan for us, Jesus.
You can ask Jesus into your life and heart anywhere, anytime.
Some do it in church in front of many people, some do it privately in their own homes, some do it with a
friend or relative who lead them in prayer...
But the key word is to just do it!
It's life changing, it's for eternity, it's the right thing to
do. Don't worry what other's will think or say, just plug your nose, hold your breath and jump right in
- the water is fine!
How to Know Jesus...
It's as simple as ABC...
A: Accept that you are a sinner and that you need a Savior.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." Romans 3:23
B: Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and rose
again.
"If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised
Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
C: Confess your sins to God.
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from
all unrighteousness." 1John 1:9
To receive Jesus, pray in this manner...
Dear God,
I know I'm a sinner (confess anything that comes to mind). I believe that you sent your only Son,
Jesus, to die on the cross so that I can be forgiven of my sins and be brought back into relationship with
you. I also believe that Jesus rose from the dead so that I can spend eternity with you one day.
I want to turn from going my own way in life and allow you to lead me. Take control of my life now and
fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I can live my life the way you would want me to. Thank you for
saving me, I will look forward to spending eternity with you in heaven one day.
